Outdoor Field Training

Advancing search skill in young dogs and field steadiness in older dogs by developing pointing & steadiness skills and working toward shooting birds over dogs to build hunting steadiness in the field.

Focus of the training will be:

• Bird Planting

• Wind Direction & Scent Cones

• Field Search

• Steadiness

• Field Gun Safety

Those that have not completed waivers cannot participate

Wear clothing and footwear for the weather

Blaze orange clothing must be worn in the field when participating in training activities

All dogs much be up to date on shots

All dogs must be staked out or crated at all times other then working in the field

Any bitches in heat will be run last

Be sure to bring lots of water, food and snacks for you and your dog(s)
