Outdoor Field Training

A day focused on developing productive field search, use of nose, handling in the field, and bird work. Training setups will be adjusted for all levels, from young dogs building confidence to advanced dogs polishing search and manners.

Focus of the training will be:

• Bird Planting

• Wind Direction & Scent Cones

• Field Search

• Steadiness

• Field Gun Safety

Those that have not completed waivers cannot participate

Wear clothing and footwear for the weather

Blaze orange clothing must be worn in the field when participating in training activities

All dogs much be up to date on shots

All dogs must be staked out or crated at all times other then working in the field

Any bitches in heat will be run last

Be sure to bring lots of water, food and snacks for you and your dog(s)
