Steady/Whoa Foundations - Drop-In Session

This session focuses on developing the essential foundations of steady/whoa, the most important skill for creating a responsive, thoughtful partner in the field and during NAVHDA testing. During your dedicated training time, you’ll work on building consistent forward steadiness, clear stopping cues, and reliable communication that helps your dog understand how to manage their energy and attention.

Experienced NPA NAVHDA members will be available to offer guidance, tips, and feedback based on what has worked for them in real hunting and testing scenarios.

Whether you’re introducing these concepts to a young dog or refining precision for advanced steadiness work, this session provides a supportive, hands‑on environment to strengthen your teamwork and improve your dog’s focus, control, and overall reliability.
