Test Site Preparation and Outdoor Water Training

A water day focused on swimming, retrieves, control, and manners. We’ll cover heeling to the blind, steadiness, clean retrieves, and effective pond searches to recover downed game.

Focus of the training will be:

• Water Introduction 

• Duck Search 

• Steady at Blind 

• Blind Retrieve

Those that have not completed waivers cannot participate

Wear clothing and footwear for the weather

Blaze orange clothing must be worn in the field when participating in training activities

All dogs much be up to date on shots

All dogs must be staked out or crated at all times other then working in the field

Any bitches in heat will be run last

Be sure to bring lots of water, food and snacks for you and your dog(s)
